Amici Procurement Solutions Launch Their First Masterclass Procurement Training Programme.

22/11/2005

Amici Procurement Solutions, in partnership with North Ayrshire Council, staged the first of four separate days of training for procurement professionals in the North Ayrshire Region. The course covers the best in practice techniques being used by major blue chip industries as well as examining the effects on company profit and loss accounts when strategic planning is used.
Caroline Briggs, Amici Director, led the course and used her wide experience as a procurement professional in blue chip companies, to lead the candidates through the course, using lots of interactive exercises to drive home the learning points. This was an important feature of the training/learning programme.
Every course member was presented with a comprehensive training manual to allow them to refresh themselves over the lessons learned.
Candidates on the course can opt for personal coaching in their workplace to help them implement some of the new ideas learned. Four members have opted for this and have been guided through the techniques of how to implement the techniques in their own workplace.
Demand for a second series of courses has been so great, that arrangements have now been made for a second group of Masterclass lessons.

“The content of the course is very extensive and quite impressive for a topic that has not produced many training courses in the past. The detailed training manual which was also supplied, is a great backup to the course content and will be very useful for future reference.”
Quote from Morag Evans, Logistics Manager, SAFC Biosciences.

"The personal coaching on a one to one basis in our own premises really helped in relating and tailoring course work to our own personal needs."
