About the role.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing team.

As a Customer Onboarding Consultant, you will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will effortlessly guide our customers through a consultation process to ensure a successful software implementation. You will become an expert in our software, delivering expert communication and training to our customers. You will play a significant role in driving the company’s growth strategy and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional level of support. This opportunity will offer autonomy, as well as individual growth and development where you will be able to learn new skills and experiences.

Reporting into the Head of Onboarding, you will be a key player within the team by providing an expert procurement service to biotech customers in the UK and USA. You will utilise your procurement skills and experience to facilitate our customers through their first 3 months with Amici. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, experience, and knowledge in a supportive work environment whilst we also undergo an exciting period of growth as a business.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for supporting new customers as they first start using Amici
  • Support and lead successful onboarding of the Amici Purchasing software solutions
  • Managing multiple customer projects at any time with key stakeholders, in line with expected timelines
  • Present configuration and process options to the customer and assist in their decision making to inform the ultimate software set up
  • Delivering expert communication and training, to ensure best practices are adopted
  • Liaise both internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure customers are having an a smooth and valuable experience
  • Review customer and Amici performance to improve overall offering
  • Develop knowledge of purchasing processes over time – You’ll use this expertise to facilitate an understanding of customers’ business needs and processes
  • Support customer until successful transition to our wider Customer Success Team

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in customer facing role / success / onboarding
  • Naturally customer centric where supporting the customer is always a top priority
  • Passionate about excellent communication and relationship building
  • Proven track record in delivering projects with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly with subject matter and customer’s needs
  • Active team player, self-starter, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or having working in a SaaS organisation are desirable
  • Understanding of the life sciences and/or biotech industry is advantageous
