Order Management Specialist

Glasgow (hybrid working)

Working hours.

9am – 7pm (flexibility required between these times – 37.5 hour week)

About the role.

We are recruiting an Order Management Specialist to join our Team. You will work closely with the existing team, responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience to biotech customers who are working at the cutting edge of science – including the manufacture of the covid vaccine in the UK and USA.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, experience, and knowledge in a supportive work environment that is going through an exciting period of growth.

What will you be doing?

  • You will ensure that the customer’s orders are processed accurately by suppliers and delivered seamlessly
  • Problem solving daily order issues to ensure minimal delays in the delivery of goods for our customers
  • You will effectively manage customer complaints to a resolution with a fast turnaround
  • You will help with streamlining the order management procedures with suppliers and implementing robust escalation routes
  • You will support the Team Leader with project work when required.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced customer facing role, managing or expediting orders
  • A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work as part of a team but also work on their own initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, someone who is confident when engaging with a variety of stakeholders
  • You will be detail orientated to complete processes and procedures, while providing the customer with a seamless experience
